    OpenAI raises $110 billion in a new funding round to expand its global artificial intelligence infrastructure. The total AWS commitment could reach $100 billion over eight years. The agreement includes dedicated cloud capacity for AI training and inference workloads.

    Nvidia continues supplying specialized AI hardware to OpenAI. SoftBank maintains its investment position through this financing round.

    Infrastructure Expansion and User Growth

    OpenAI reported that its services reach more than 900 million weekly active users. The company has over 50 million paying consumer subscribers. It also serves more than 9 million business users.

    The company stated that large-scale AI development requires substantial computing investment. Industry estimates project AI-related compute spending could approach $600 billion by 2030.

    Existing Partnerships Remain in Place

    OpenAI confirmed that its long-standing collaboration with Microsoft is unchanged. The company said the new funding supports infrastructure expansion while maintaining existing strategic relationships.

    OpenAI raises $110 billion to expand computing systems and support continued development of advanced AI technologies worldwide.
