According to reports, the consumer technology conference CES this year will have a lot of items that use artificial intelligence (AI) as their main selling point.

According to Bloomberg on Monday, December 29, exhibitors at the event from January 6 to 9, 2026, would probably try to show investors, business clients, and regular people how useful AI is.

The report says that smart glasses are one type of AI-powered product that will probably be on exhibit at the expo. The article added that Meta would show off some new or better software features, Snap might let more people try on its upcoming Specs glasses, and a few smaller businesses might make announcements about their products.

In February, PYMNTS said that a new generation of smart glasses had come out and that many businesses were wagering that these would be the next big thing in connected wearables.

Smart glasses have been popular because they use regular eyeglass frames in many styles, so people don’t look out of place in public, plus they have powerful electronics that let AI perform things like search the web and translate.

According to the source, CES may also have other types of hardware on display, such rings, that highlight various ways people can use AI without a smartphone. The research also said that several businesses have failed in this area in the past.

The report says that robotics will get its own area at the conference center. The research claimed that displays will probably include robots that can be used in households, industry, logistics, and food service. LG is one of the bigger companies that might show off humanoid robot ideas during the event.

In November, PYMNTS observed that robots is becoming more common in everyday life since AI now provides machines better eyes, ears, and timing for tasks like mowing lawns, cleaning windows, and looking at cat litter.

AI and robotics are helping global merchants with their supply chains by moving items faster, making fewer mistakes, and keeping workers safe from physically demanding activities. PYMNTS said on December 22 that what used to be experimental technology is now part of the main infrastructure.
