Abu Dhabi will host Machines Can Think 2026 on January 26 and January 27 at Park Hyatt Saadiyat Island. This event will bring together global AI leaders, researchers, and executives from major technology companies. The summit is the main event for artificial intelligence adoption in the Middle East and North Africa region. It will feature over 50 keynote talks, hands-on workshops, interactive demos, and startup exhibits.
Organized by Polynome, the event will showcase more than 20 leading AI researchers from over 12 countries and senior leaders from global tech firms. Speakers include Michal Valko, Chief Models Officer at a stealth AI startup, who will share insights on building innovative models. Manohar Paluri, Vice President of AI at Meta, will discuss scalable AI systems and innovation. Andrey Doronichev, CEO of Optic and former Google executive, will address AI’s role in science and health. Marc Hamilton, Vice President of Solutions Architecture and Engineering at NVIDIA, will provide insights on infrastructure and accelerated computing. Serge Belongie, Director of the Pioneer Centre for AI, will examine trends in computer vision and research leadership.
The summit’s agenda will include three tracks focused on human-AI interaction, technical breakthroughs, and executive strategies for responsible AI deployment. Attendees will be able to access immersive demo zones and join practical sessions that demonstrate how real-world AI systems function across industries.
This event aligns with the UAE’s National AI Strategy 2031. It supports initiatives to increase AI adoption and foster global collaboration in intelligent technologies.
