Abu Dhabi, UAE — Women in AI (WAI), a global nonprofit dedicated to advancing gender-inclusive leadership in artificial intelligence, today announced its participation as an official Community Partner of Machines Can Think 2026, taking place January 26–27, 2026, in Abu Dhabi.

As part of the collaboration, Women in AI will host a dedicated roundtable titled “Pilot to Policy: AI Safety Roundtable,” bringing together AI experts from around the world to address one of the most critical challenges facing the industry today: bridging the gap between real-world AI pilots and effective, scalable policy frameworks.

    From Experimentation to Governance

As artificial intelligence rapidly transitions from pilot projects to large-scale deployment, the disconnect between technical implementation and policy readiness continues to grow. The “Pilot to Policy” roundtable will create a focused, expert-led space to explore how AI safety insights from real-world deployments can inform responsible governance, regulation, and standards.

The session will convene leaders across research, engineering, industry, and policy to foster actionable dialogue that moves beyond theory toward practical, globally relevant solutions.

Empowering Women, Shaping the Future of AI

Women in AI’s mission is to empower women and amplify their leadership across AI research, engineering, and industry worldwide. By joining Machines Can Think 2026 as a Community Partner, Women in AI reinforces its commitment to ensuring diverse voices play a central role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence.

Machines Can Think 2026 aligns closely with this vision, offering a global platform for meaningful dialogue, visibility, and collaboration at the intersection of AI innovation, governance, and societal impact.

A Shared Commitment to Inclusive AI

The partnership reflects a shared belief that the future of AI must be inclusive, responsible, and globally informed. Through collaboration, curated discussions, and community engagement, Women in AI and Machines Can Think aim to inspire new conversations, unlock opportunities, and help build a more equitable AI ecosystem.
