Media-focused artificial intelligence is becoming an important area of AI development. Meta is expanding this work through its Superintelligence Labs. Manohar Paluri is the Vice President at Meta. He leads media-focused AI initiatives within the company.

Paluri oversees teams that build foundation models for images, video, and multimodal systems. These models help users create, view, and interact with content on Meta platforms. The systems operate at a large scale and support billions of users.

Manohar Paluri will speak at Machines Can Think 2026. The event will take place in January 2026. His session will focus on media-native intelligence as a foundational layer of advanced AI systems.

During the summit, Paluri will explain how large-scale media models are trained. He will cover training methods for image and video systems. The session will also discuss how these models align outputs with human intent. Topics will include control, consistency, and behavior alignment across media formats.

The presentation will outline why media-native intelligence is different from text-first AI systems. Media models process visual and audiovisual data directly. These systems aid in creation, understanding, and interaction across formats.

Machines Can Think 2026 will bring together AI researchers, industry leaders, and executives. The event focuses on applied AI, cutting-edge systems, and real-world deployment. Paluri’s participation highlights the growing role of media-focused AI in the development of artificial intelligence.

You can find registration information on the event website.
