AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 is now just three days away, with the AI industry preparing to converge on ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on October 6 and 7.
The inaugural event is positioning itself as a major meeting point for AI companies, investors, government leaders, researchers and technology executives. More than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, unicorns and startups, along with 200-plus investors and 180-plus speakers, are expected to take part, with participants coming from more than 60 countries.
The timing is interesting. AI has moved well beyond the early generative AI rush. Companies are now trying to turn models into working products, agents, robots and enterprise systems. Governments are doing something similar with public services and national infrastructure.
That is where Abu Dhabi’s event comes in.
AI Everything Abu Dhabi Enters Its Final Three-Day Countdown
With only three days remaining, AI Everything Abu Dhabi is moving from promotion into the final preparations before the exhibition and summit open. The event will run across October 6 and 7 at ADNEC Centre, with an exhibition covering AI government, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, enterprise AI, startups, data centres and intelligent infrastructure.
The official programme describes the gathering as the world’s largest AI-first expo and summit. Its focus is not limited to foundation models or generative AI. The agenda reaches into the infrastructure required to run AI, the businesses deploying it and the governments looking at how AI can reshape public services.
That gives the event a distinctly practical angle.
Mistral AI and Boston Dynamics Bring Two Different AI Worlds Together
One of the more interesting aspects of the speaker programme is the presence of Arthur Mensch, co-founder and CEO of Mistral AI, and Marc Raibert, founder of Boston Dynamics.
Mensch represents the rapidly developing world of advanced AI models and generative intelligence. Raibert’s work sits much closer to the physical world, where AI-powered machines need to understand their surroundings and act within them. Both are scheduled to headline summit discussions in Abu Dhabi, marking their first appearance together in the UAE, according to the event organisers.
That combination says something about where the industry is heading.
AI is no longer confined to chat interfaces and software dashboards. Models are increasingly becoming components inside robots, industrial systems, autonomous machines and other physical technologies.
Agentic AI Moves From Talk to Deployment
Agentic AI will be another major theme at AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026. The interest around agents has shifted quickly from simple demonstrations toward systems that can execute sequences of tasks and interact with business software, data and workflows.

Abu Dhabi Places AI Government at the Centre
Government AI has a particularly strong presence at this year’s event. The Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi (DGE) is the host partner, with more than 50 UAE government entities participating in the programme.
Abu Dhabi is pursuing a broader transformation of its public sector, with DGE working toward the emirate’s stated ambition of becoming an AI-native government by 2027. The organisation says more than 100 AI use cases are already live across Abu Dhabi’s public services.
The AI Government Excellence Forum will examine areas including AI-native government, agentic technology and intelligent public services.
That makes this part of the event particularly relevant. The conversation is not just about what AI might do someday. It is increasingly about how governments can use the technology inside services people already depend on.
More Than 200 Investors Will Be Looking for the Next AI Opportunity
The investment community will have a major presence in Abu Dhabi as well. Organisers say more than 200 investors, representing approximately $91 billion in assets under management, are expected to participate.
For startups, that changes the atmosphere around the exhibition floor. Founders can demonstrate products while meeting potential investors, customers and technology partners in the same place.
The Supernova Challenge will give emerging companies another opportunity to present their technologies to investors and industry participants.
AI funding has also become more selective. Infrastructure, specialised models, enterprise applications, robotics and agentic systems are all competing for capital. A startup arriving in Abu Dhabi therefore has more to prove than simply having an AI label attached to its product.
AI Infrastructure Gets Its Own Spotlight
The flashy side of AI tends to focus on models and applications. The less visible part is infrastructure.
Every large AI system depends on computing power, data centres, networking, storage and energy. As models become larger and AI applications spread across enterprises, those requirements become increasingly difficult and expensive to ignore.
AI Everything Abu Dhabi gives this infrastructure layer significant space through its focus on data centres, energy and intelligent infrastructure. The event’s programme connects computing infrastructure with enterprise AI, quantum technologies and other emerging systems.
This reflects a broader change in the AI market. The competition is not happening only between model developers. Chip suppliers, cloud providers, data-centre operators, energy companies and enterprise technology vendors are all becoming part of the same ecosystem.
UAE Research and Sovereign AI Take the Stage
The UAE’s own AI research capabilities will also feature prominently. The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is set to showcase work from its research centres, including developments around its Falcon family of large language models.
TII says its exhibition programme will include 23 demonstrations from nine research centres, covering areas such as energy, materials, marine and maritime infrastructure, aerospace and autonomous systems. One example is GeoAI, a machine-learning model focused on the subsurface geology of the northern UAE and its potential use in mineral exploration.
The focus on sovereign AI is significant for the region. Governments increasingly want greater control over the infrastructure, models and data supporting critical national systems.
Abu Dhabi is putting that discussion directly into the event programme.
More Than 400 AI Companies and Startups Will Converge in Abu Dhabi
The exhibition is expected to feature more than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, unicorns and startups, creating a broad cross-section of the current AI market.
The exhibitor ecosystem includes major technology companies such as AWS, Alibaba Cloud, ASUS, Cerebras, Cloudflare, Dell, HPE, Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, Seagate and Snowflake, alongside UAE organisations and emerging AI companies. The organisers say the international exhibitors collectively represent more than $10 trillion in market capitalisation.
For visitors, that means the event is likely to feel less like a single-topic AI conference and more like a snapshot of the infrastructure and businesses forming around the technology.
There will be models, agents, enterprise systems, robotics, cybersecurity, quantum technologies and the hardware required to make much of it work.
Three Days Before Abu Dhabi Becomes an AI Meeting Point
On October 6, the countdown ends.
AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 will open its doors at ADNEC Centre for two days of exhibitions, summit sessions, government discussions, startup activity and technology demonstrations. The event’s official programme spans sovereign AI, enterprise systems, agentic technology, AI infrastructure, physical AI and public-sector applications.
Three days out, the interesting question is no longer whether AI is attracting attention.
It clearly is.
The bigger question is what companies and governments are actually doing with it.
