The countdown to AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 has reached six days.
On October 6, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi will open its doors to AI companies, policymakers, investors, researchers, startups and technology leaders arriving from around the world for one of the UAE’s major artificial intelligence gatherings of the year.
The event runs from October 6–7, 2026, putting two packed days of AI technology, enterprise deployment, investment and government innovation in the UAE capital.
This is no longer simply a conference about what AI might eventually become. Much of the conversation has moved somewhere more practical: what companies and governments can actually deploy now.
Five Days Until AI Everything Abu Dhabi Opens
With September 30 marking six days until the event, preparations are entering their final stretch at ADNEC Centre. AI Everything Abu Dhabi will bring together technology companies, government organisations, startups and investors across a programme covering AI infrastructure, sovereign AI, autonomous systems, enterprise applications and emerging agentic technology.
The timing is interesting. Artificial intelligence has moved quickly beyond the rush to build bigger models. Businesses now want systems that can perform useful work, governments are testing AI inside public services, and infrastructure providers are racing to supply the computing power behind it all.
That gives this year’s event a noticeably different backdrop.
More Than 400 AI Companies and Startups Head to Abu Dhabi
Organisers expect more than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model developers, unicorns and startups to participate, with companies and attendees coming from more than 60 countries. More than 180 global AI experts and business leaders are also expected to contribute across the programme.
The mix stretches far beyond generative AI platforms. Cloud computing, networking, data infrastructure, autonomous systems, enterprise software and the energy demands created by AI are increasingly part of the same technology conversation.
That matters because AI is becoming an infrastructure story almost as quickly as it became a software story. Models need computing power. Computing power needs data centres, networking, cooling and energy. Businesses then need to connect those systems to existing operations without creating new security or governance problems.
Abu Dhabi is bringing many of those pieces into the same room.
Mistral AI and Boston Dynamics Put Autonomy in Focus
Some of the industry’s most recognisable AI figures are expected in Abu Dhabi, including Arthur Mensch, co-founder and CEO of Mistral AI, and Marc Raibert, founder of Boston Dynamics and executive director of the Robotics & AI Institute.
Their participation captures two different directions in the current AI race. Mistral sits at the centre of discussions around frontier models, sovereign AI and greater control over the technologies businesses and governments depend on.
Raibert represents another frontier: putting intelligence into machines that can move, perceive their surroundings and operate in the physical world.
Put those two strands together and the AI conversation suddenly looks much bigger than chatbots.
Agentic AI Moves From Hype to Deployment
Agentic AI is likely to be one of the phrases heard repeatedly around ADNEC Centre. Companies have spent much of 2026 experimenting with AI systems capable of handling multistep tasks, interacting with software and completing portions of workflows with less direct human intervention.
The harder part begins when those systems leave controlled demonstrations.
Giving an AI agent access to enterprise software, customer information or internal processes creates questions around permissions, cybersecurity, reliability and accountability. Those concerns become even sharper when autonomous systems enter banking, healthcare, energy or government environments.
AI Everything Abu Dhabi puts that deployment problem firmly inside the programme. The conversation is shifting from whether AI agents can perform tasks to how much responsibility organisations are prepared to give them.
Abu Dhabi Puts Government AI in the Spotlight
Government technology will have a particularly visible role during the event. AI Everything Abu Dhabi is hosted by the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, connecting the commercial AI exhibition with the UAE capital’s broader push toward AI-enabled government services.
The AI Government Excellence Forum on October 7 will examine AI-native government, agentic technology and intelligent public services. That makes the event more than a showcase for companies trying to sell software.
Governments operate systems used by millions of people. Introducing AI into those environments raises a different set of questions around scale, reliability, transparency and public trust.
A prototype can fail quietly. A public service cannot.
ElevenLabs Expands Beyond Synthetic Voice
ElevenLabs will bring another side of the rapidly changing AI market to Abu Dhabi. The company has expanded beyond the synthetic voice technology that initially made it widely known, moving into conversational agents and broader generative media tools.
Its ElevenAgents platform is designed around conversational AI experiences, while ElevenCreative combines audio technology with image and video generation capabilities.
The expansion reflects a broader trend across generative AI. Tools that once specialised in one medium are increasingly becoming multimodal platforms capable of working across voice, images, video and text.
Those boundaries are disappearing quickly.
Investors Put AI Startups Under the Spotlight
The startup side of AI Everything Abu Dhabi carries its own weight. More than 200 global investors are expected to participate in the wider event programme, creating an unusually concentrated audience for emerging AI companies seeking capital, customers or strategic partners.
The Supernova Challenge will also give startups an opportunity to pitch their technologies and compete in front of the broader technology and investment community.
For founders, the attraction is fairly straightforward. They are not entering a venue filled only with other startups. Government organisations, enterprise buyers, technology companies and investors will all be moving through the same event.
One conversation could lead somewhere very different from the next.
AI Training Gets Hands-On at ADNEC Centre
AI Everything Abu Dhabi is also putting practical training alongside the conference programme. Workshops, certified training sessions and technical activities are expected across October 6 and 7, including programmes focused on AI agents, multi-agent systems, AI strategy, quantum computing and intelligent infrastructure.
An Alibaba Qoder AI Hackathon and AWS AI Academy Training are among the hands-on activities scheduled around the event.
That practical layer matters. AI conferences can easily become dominated by predictions about what technology will do several years from now. Training sessions and hackathons pull the discussion back toward what developers, companies and teams can actually build today.
The difference between those two conversations is getting harder to ignore.
Abu Dhabi Has Six Days Until the AI Crowd Arrives
AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 opens on Tuesday, October 6, at ADNEC Centre and continues through October 7.
Six days remain before the exhibition floor opens.
By then, many of the industry’s biggest questions will arrive with the crowd. How much autonomy should companies give AI agents? Who controls the models governments depend on? How quickly can enterprises move from pilots into production? And where will the enormous computing infrastructure required for all of this come from?
There probably will not be neat answers waiting in Abu Dhabi.
That may be exactly why the event matters.
