CES 2026 will put artificial intelligence and robotics at the forefront of the event. The exhibition takes place from January 6 to January 9 in Las Vegas. About 4,300 companies from over 150 countries will take part. The show covers roughly 2.5 million square feet of exhibition space.

This year’s focus is on physical AI. Physical AI means systems where artificial intelligence controls machines that sense and act in real environments. Robotics will be a major feature across several exhibition halls. The focus shifts from software-based AI to embodied systems.

Hyundai Motor Group plans to showcase its long-term robotics strategy. Boston Dynamics, Hyundai’s robotics subsidiary, will introduce its next-generation humanoid robot, Atlas. This electric robot shows improvement in mobility, balance, and executing real-world tasks. Hyundai’s presentation fits into its larger goal of software-defined manufacturing and AI-driven automation.

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will also display AI and robotics technologies. Their exhibits will likely include smart home integration, service robots, and AI-powered appliances. Korean companies make up about 20 percent of all exhibitors at CES 2026.

South Korean startups will have a strong presence. Many will appear in Eureka Park, which is dedicated to emerging companies. These startups will showcase robotics, automation tools, and AI applications meant for real-world use.

Robotics displays will include humanoid machines and robots designed for specific tasks. Demonstrations will emphasize perception, navigation, manipulation, and interaction. Applications will cover manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, home services, and autonomous systems.

The rising importance of robotics reflects broader industry trends. Companies increasingly see robots as a key way to use AI outside of digital environments. Progress in sensors, computing power, and machine learning allows for more dependable physical interactions.

CES organizers expect physical AI to shape many product announcements. The event will illustrate how AI transitions from analysis to action. Robots and intelligent machines will show abilities beyond mere prototypes. The focus stays on systems that perform useful functions.

CES 2026 is a global stage for revealing these technologies. The event highlights the way AI and robotics come together across different industries. This shift points to a future with intelligent machines woven into everyday life and industrial processes.
