Hotel booking portal Agoda is taking the power of artificial intelligence to a whole new level with the unveiling of an innovative hotel discovery feature. This feature makes it easier for travelers to get answers before deciding on their accommodations. The recently introduced Agoda AI travel tool is one of the latest examples of technology built on top of generative AI. Moreover, it has the ability to offer real-time answers, personalized hotel recommendations, and an enhanced property exploration experience via Agoda’s platform.

AI Technology Aims to Simplify Travel Booking for Millions of Users

This AI-powered solution comes on the heels of Agoda’s expanding commitment to using artificial intelligence in all its processes. The company strives to enhance the traveling experience for millions of users around the world. Agoda says that this technology helps travelers overcome issues related to comparing hotel facilities, policies, amenities, and overall experience described on each listing.

“Property AMA (Ask Me Anything) Bot” Offers Travelers Quick Answers

Travelers no longer need to browse through lengthy hotel reviews and descriptions. This is because they can now ask direct questions and get AI-generated answers immediately. These include things like:

    • Is there parking?
    • How close to the beach is the hotel?
    • Is the hotel kid-friendly?
    • What’s check-in time?
    • Does breakfast come with accommodation?

The company has added this AI tool to its website and app. As a result, users can get instant answers to all their questions right away.

Singapore-Based Agoda Moves Into More Advanced AI Solutions

In recent months, the travel platform headquartered in Singapore has launched several AI-powered solutions. Notably, this includes a unique vacation planner built on Google’s AI technology Imagen and Google Gemini.

AI tools, according to Agoda, are increasingly important to solve problems that modern travelers often face when booking their travels online. These issues include “destination overload” and “itinerary anxiety.” This is because the firm aims to offer hyper-personalized recommendations based on traveler preferences, destination, travel style, etc.

Citing CEO Idan Zalzberg, Agoda is keen on using AI to give customers the information they need in the most critical moments.

AI Technologies Change Travel Industry Dramatically

This news highlights how artificial intelligence is fast becoming the norm for digital travel experiences. Chatbots, AI assistants, and recommendation engines are quickly emerging as must-have solutions for any travel-related service.

Conversational AI, say industry experts, is poised to play a crucial role in travel planning in the coming years. Research shows that AI-powered travel assistants are increasingly successful at creating custom itineraries and offering hotel recommendations to travelers.

New technology has also transformed the way travelers find accommodations online. According to research, travelers can become less dependent on online travel agencies by using AI-powered search tools.

Agoda Becomes One of the Leaders of AI-Powered Travel Experiences

Since it was founded back in 2005, Agoda has been actively developing various AI and automation solutions to optimize its business processes. These range from hotel pricing to customer experience management.

By adding an AI-powered chatbot to its booking engine, Agoda becomes one of the leaders of AI-based travel platforms in Asia and elsewhere. This innovative feature could help users book rooms much faster and more confidently.
