    Key Takeaways

    • The Nebius Meta AI capacity deal is a significant $27 billion agreement for AI computing capacity over five years.
    • Nebius will deliver at least $12 billion in dedicated AI computing resources starting in early 2027.
    • The deal includes high-performance hardware, featuring Nvidia’s Vera Rubin AI platform to support machine-learning workloads.
    • Meta can purchase up to $15 billion in additional computing resources during the contract period.
    • The agreement highlights the rising global demand for robust AI computing infrastructure among technology companies.

The Nebius Meta AI capacity deal marks a major agreement in the artificial-intelligence infrastructure sector. Nebius Group signed a long-term contract with Meta Platforms to supply AI computing capacity. The partnership reflects growing demand for large-scale AI infrastructure. The agreement is valued at up to $27 billion over five years.

Nebius is an AI infrastructure provider headquartered in Amsterdam. The company develops data centers and cloud systems designed for machine-learning workloads. Meta plans to use this infrastructure to support its AI development programs.

Nebius Meta AI Capacity Deal Details

The Nebius Meta AI capacity deal includes a commitment to deliver at least $12 billion in dedicated AI computing capacity. The infrastructure will be built through specialized data centers operated by Nebius.

Delivery of the computing resources is expected to begin in early 2027. The agreement expands a previous partnership signed in November 2025, which was valued at about $3 billion.

Under the new contract, Meta will receive access to computing clusters designed for training and running advanced artificial-intelligence models.

AI Data Centers and Hardware in the Nebius Meta AI Capacity Deal

The infrastructure supporting the Nebius Meta AI capacity deal will rely on high-performance hardware systems. Nebius plans to deploy Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin AI platform.

These systems will support large-scale machine-learning workloads and generative AI development. The data-center clusters are expected to provide massive processing power required for modern AI models.

Nebius will construct the computing clusters across multiple locations to support the agreement.

Expansion Options in the Nebius Meta AI Capacity Deal

The Nebius Meta AI capacity deal also includes options for additional capacity purchases. Meta can buy up to $15 billion in extra computing resources during the five-year contract period.

Nebius may also offer unused capacity through its AI cloud platform to other customers. If additional capacity remains unsold, Meta has agreed to purchase it.

Nebius has signed other large infrastructure agreements as well. The company previously secured a $17 billion AI infrastructure deal with Microsoft.

Rising Demand for AI Computing Infrastructure

The Nebius Meta AI capacity deal reflects increasing global demand for AI computing infrastructure. Technology companies are investing heavily in data centers and specialized hardware.

Training and operating advanced AI systems require significant computing power. Large cloud infrastructure projects have become essential for companies developing next-generation artificial-intelligence models.
