Oversee Brings Conversational AI to AgentSee as Travel Tech Pushes Deeper Into Agentic AI

Oversee is putting a familiar AI interface inside a place where travel consultants actually work.

The travel technology company has introduced a new conversational AI chat experience within AgentSee, its agentic AI product for travel management companies, while also rolling out a broader redesign of the Oversee platform.

The updates were announced around GBTA Convention 2026 in Chicago and are already available to Oversee’s TMC partners and corporate customers.

    AgentSee Gets a ChatGPT-Like Interface

The interesting part isn’t simply that AgentSee now has a chatbot. Chat interfaces are everywhere.

What matters is where Oversee has put it.

The conversational feature sits inside AgentSee Assist, the company’s co-pilot mode for travel consultants. Instead of opening a separate AI application, consultants can interact with AgentSee directly while handling travel requests.

They can ask questions, review what the AI has prepared, request changes and tell the system what to do next using ordinary language. Oversee explicitly points to familiar conversational AI tools such as ChatGPT as part of the thinking behind the interface.

That familiarity could matter more than another long feature list. Workers don’t need to learn an entirely new interaction model. They already know how to type a question into an AI chat window.

The AI Does the Groundwork Before the Consultant Steps In

AgentSee Assist is designed to take on some of the tedious work surrounding corporate travel servicing. An incoming request might involve a booking change, cancellation, exchange or fare-rule question. AgentSee can examine the request, conduct the initial research and surface the decisions that actually need human attention.

The consultant then reviews the work and gives instructions. From there, Assist can take the next action, including completing a booking in the Global Distribution System (GDS) or changing an existing reservation.

That’s a slightly different AI story from the usual “replace the worker” pitch. The consultant stays in the loop, but ideally spends less time digging through fare rules, searching systems and assembling information manually.

Assist and Execute Split the Work

AgentSee now operates around two complementary approaches: Assist and Execute. Execute is intended for servicing requests that can be automated from beginning to end. Assist is for situations where a person still needs to review something, make a judgment or approve an action.

It’s an important distinction. Travel servicing can get messy quickly. A straightforward request may be easy to automate. An unusual itinerary, fare restriction or customer situation may not be.

Rather than forcing every request through the same level of automation, Oversee is positioning AgentSee as something that can move between autonomous execution and human-guided AI assistance.

The company has been building toward this model for some time. Oversee previously said AgentSee could automate high-volume repetitive servicing tasks, with the company reporting average savings of 25 minutes per request and productivity gains reaching 90% in selected processes. Those figures come from Oversee itself rather than independent benchmarking, so they should be treated as company-reported performance.

Oversee Redesigns the Rest of Its Platform Too

The AI chat feature isn’t arriving alone. Oversee has also redesigned its wider platform, consolidating analytics and reporting across air reshopping, hotel reshopping, sourcing analytics and AgentSee into a more consistent interface.

The idea is to show different users the information most relevant to what they’re doing. A travel manager might need to spot problems with rate availability. An operations leader might care more about where additional servicing processes could be automated.

Putting those signals into a common interface may sound like the less exciting half of the announcement, but enterprise AI tends to live or die on workflow. A clever model buried behind fragmented tools doesn’t necessarily save anyone much time.

Agentic AI Is Moving Into Ordinary Business Software

There’s a broader shift hiding inside this travel industry announcement. Agentic AI is gradually moving away from standalone demos and into existing operational software.

AgentSee isn’t asking a consultant to leave the travel servicing environment, open a general-purpose chatbot and copy information back and forth. The AI is being placed inside the workflow and given the ability to prepare — and in some cases execute — actual work.

Oversee has been heading in this direction since before the latest redesign. Its earlier AgentAI system was built to automate non-revenue-generating travel servicing tasks, interpret traveler intent and assist with both customer-facing and back-office workflows.

AgentSee has also added personalization capabilities based on historical traveler information such as airline preferences, seating choices, loyalty programs, hotel chains and previous booking decisions. The new conversational layer makes that machinery easier to reach.

And maybe that’s the bigger story. For enterprise AI, the next fight may not be about who has the flashiest chatbot. It may be about who can quietly insert AI into the software people already spend their day using — without making the workflow more complicated than it was before.
