The countdown has reached seven days.

On October 6, 2026, AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 will open at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, turning the UAE capital into a meeting point for AI companies, researchers, investors, policymakers and government leaders from around the world.

The event runs through October 7, and its scale has grown since the first details were announced. Organisers now expect more than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, unicorns and startups, alongside more than 180 speakers and participants from 60 countries.

That makes the final week before AI Everything Abu Dhabi more than a countdown to another technology conference. The event arrives while the AI conversation is shifting rapidly from models and demonstrations toward deployment, infrastructure, agents and real-world adoption.

Seven Days Until AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026

AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 takes place on October 6–7, 2026, at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. With September 29 marking exactly seven days until opening day, companies, speakers and delegates are entering the final stretch before the two-day event begins.

The official ADNEC schedule lists the event from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on October 6 and from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on October 7. Across those two days, discussions will move through sovereign AI, autonomous systems, enterprise adoption, AI infrastructure, robotics, agentic AI and government transformation.

The timing is difficult to ignore. AI companies have spent years proving that increasingly capable systems can be built. Businesses and governments now want something else: evidence that those systems can work reliably inside organisations.

More Than 400 AI Companies and Startups Head to Abu Dhabi

The scale of AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 has expanded considerably. Earlier event information referenced more than 350 participating enterprises and startups, while the latest official announcement puts participation at more than 400 AI infrastructure builders, model makers, unicorns and startups.

Major technology companies listed around the event include AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Cerebras, Cloudflare, Dell, HPE, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Red Hat and Snowflake. More than 200 investors are also expected, creating a mix that stretches well beyond the usual AI software crowd.

That mix reflects where the industry is heading. AI is increasingly an infrastructure business. Models need chips. Chips need data centres. Data centres need networking, cooling and enormous amounts of electricity. Enterprise AI then needs another layer of security, governance and integration before companies can actually use it.

AI Everything Abu Dhabi is putting much of that ecosystem under one roof.

Mistral AI and Boston Dynamics Join the Global Speaker Lineup

Mistral AI co-founder and CEO Arthur Mensch and Boston Dynamics founder Marc Raibert are among the prominent technology figures expected in Abu Dhabi. Organisers have highlighted their participation as part of a programme examining sovereign AI, industrial intelligence, robotics and the next phase of increasingly autonomous technology.

The wider conference is expected to feature more than 180 speakers. Rather than keeping the discussion narrowly focused on generative AI, the programme stretches into computing infrastructure, autonomous systems, enterprise deployment, public-sector AI and the increasingly complicated relationship between human decision-making and AI systems capable of acting independently.

Those conversations feel considerably more immediate in 2026. AI agents are moving into actual workflows, while robotics companies are combining increasingly capable software with machines that operate in physical environments. The questions are no longer entirely theoretical.

Abu Dhabi Puts AI-Native Government on Display

Government technology will occupy a substantial part of AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026, with more than 50 UAE government entities expected to participate. The Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi is serving as Host Partner, placing public-sector AI deployment near the centre of the event.

Abu Dhabi has set an ambition to become an AI-native government by 2027. According to event organisers, more than 100 AI use cases are already operating across public services, supported by a multibillion-dollar government digital strategy.

That gives the conference a different angle from events built primarily around commercial AI products. Visitors will also encounter government departments attempting to use AI inside public services, administrative systems and wider digital infrastructure.

It is one thing to demonstrate an AI assistant. Running AI inside government is a much tougher test.

TII Brings Falcon AI and UAE Research to the Exhibition Floor

The UAE’s Technology Innovation Institute is expected to bring a substantial research presence to AI Everything Abu Dhabi. TII plans to showcase 23 demonstrations across nine research centres, covering fields including autonomous systems, aerospace, advanced materials, energy and maritime technologies.

Its Falcon family of AI models also places TII directly inside the broader discussion around sovereign AI. Countries and organisations are increasingly asking whether dependence on a handful of externally controlled models is sustainable, particularly when AI begins touching government systems, critical infrastructure and sensitive enterprise data.

That makes locally developed models more than a technical curiosity. Control over models, data and computing infrastructure is becoming part of national technology strategy, and Abu Dhabi has been particularly aggressive in building around that idea.

Agentic AI Moves Beyond the Buzzword

Agentic AI will almost certainly be one of the phrases heard repeatedly across ADNEC Centre. The more interesting question is what companies can actually do with it.

AI agents are designed to move beyond answering questions and generating content. They can potentially access software, coordinate tasks, work through multistep processes and take actions on behalf of users or organisations. That opens much larger possibilities, but it also introduces considerably harder questions around permissions, cybersecurity, accountability and human oversight.

AI Everything Abu Dhabi’s programme places autonomous enterprises and multi-agent systems alongside practical enterprise deployment. That is where the agent conversation needs to go. Building an impressive demonstration is relatively easy compared with allowing autonomous software to operate inside systems containing financial information, customer data or critical infrastructure.

The awkward details matter now.

ElevenLabs Brings Conversational Agents and Generative Media

ElevenLabs is another company expected to bring its expanding AI platform to Abu Dhabi, including technology around conversational agents and generative media. The company has moved well beyond the synthetic voice technology that initially made it widely known.

Its ElevenAgents technology is aimed at conversational AI experiences that can be integrated into products and services, while its broader creative platform brings together audio and other generative media capabilities.

This is another sign of how quickly AI interfaces are changing. Text boxes are no longer the only gateway into generative systems. Voice, images, video and autonomous agents are becoming interconnected parts of the same product experience, particularly as businesses look for AI systems that customers can interact with more naturally.

Workshops and Hackathons Take AI Beyond the Main Stage

Not everything at AI Everything Abu Dhabi will happen under conference lights. The programme also includes technical training, workshops and hackathons intended to give developers and technology teams a more hands-on route into the technologies being discussed.

Activities include an Alibaba Qoder AI Hackathon, AWS AI Academy sessions and workshops exploring areas such as collaborative AI agents, intelligent infrastructure, AI strategy and quantum computing.

That practical component is increasingly important. Organisations don’t simply need people who understand what generative AI is. They need developers and technology teams capable of connecting models to existing systems, securing those connections, measuring their performance and knowing when AI is the wrong solution entirely.

There is still a large gap between using AI and deploying it well.

AI Infrastructure Becomes Part of the Main AI Conversation

AI’s appetite for computing resources has pushed infrastructure into the centre of the industry. AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026 reflects that shift by bringing cloud providers, hardware companies, investors, policymakers and infrastructure specialists into the same event.

Compute capacity is no longer a background technical concern. Access to accelerators, data-centre capacity, energy, cooling systems and high-speed networks increasingly determines how quickly organisations and countries can expand their AI ambitions.

This also explains why Abu Dhabi’s role is worth watching. The emirate is positioning itself not only as a buyer or adopter of AI technology, but as a location where computing infrastructure, research, capital and government strategy can meet.

That is a much bigger bet.

What to Watch When AI Everything Abu Dhabi Opens

Seven days out, there probably isn’t one announcement that defines AI Everything Abu Dhabi 2026. The more interesting story is the collision of different parts of the AI industry in one place.

Frontier model developers will sit alongside cloud providers and infrastructure companies. Robotics researchers will share the programme with government officials. Investors will be looking at startups while public-sector organisations showcase systems already being deployed. UAE research organisations will also have an opportunity to put locally developed technologies beside products from some of the world’s largest technology companies.

The common thread is no longer simply artificial intelligence itself. It is implementation.

The industry has spent years asking how powerful AI can become. The questions arriving in Abu Dhabi are becoming more practical: where should these systems operate, who controls them, what infrastructure supports them and what happens when AI is trusted to do more than generate an answer?

In seven days, those conversations move to ADNEC Centre.
