    Key Takeaways

    • Gamma launched the Gamma Imagine AI design tool in March 2026, expanding its capabilities beyond presentations and documents.
    • The tool allows users to create logos, infographics, diagrams, and social media graphics using AI-driven design elements based on natural language input.
    • It features over 100 editable templates, Smart Charts for data visualizations, and support for uploading reference images.
    • The tool integrates with platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, and Atlassian, enhancing user workflows.
    • Gamma aims to reach a user base of 100 million, primarily targeting teams needing efficient branded content production.

Gamma launched its new Gamma Imagine AI design tool in March 2026, marking a major step beyond its original focus on presentations and documents. With this update, the platform now supports a wider range of visual content creation, allowing users to design assets directly within the system.

The Gamma Imagine AI design tool is built for creating standalone visuals. Users can generate logos, infographics, diagrams, and social media graphics without needing separate design software. Everything is powered by AI, which automatically applies brand elements like colors, styles, and formatting based on user input.

AI-Native Features of Gamma Imagine AI Design Tool

At its core, the Gamma Imagine AI design tool is designed to feel like working with a digital designer. Instead of complex tools, users simply describe what they want using natural language. The system then produces multiple design options, giving users flexibility to choose or refine results.

It also supports uploading reference images, making it easier to keep designs consistent with a specific visual style. The platform includes more than 100 editable templates that can be adjusted through simple text instructions. Users can even reuse and modify existing Gamma content.

Another key feature is Smart Charts. These tools create branded data visualizations such as bar charts, funnels, scatter plots, and heatmaps. The platform can also generate illustrations and infographics directly from written descriptions.

Integrations and Adoption of Gamma Imagine AI Design Tool

The Gamma Imagine AI design tool connects with several widely used platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Zapier, and Atlassian. These integrations help users create content without leaving their existing workflows.

Gamma reports that its user base is approaching 100 million, with over 80 percent of users located outside the United States. The tool is aimed at teams that need to produce large volumes of branded content quickly and efficiently.

This release represents Gamma’s biggest product expansion so far. To support the launch, the company is planning a global user tour with stops in cities like Seoul, London, and São Paulo. The Gamma Imagine AI design tool became available starting March 17, 2026.
