Dubai, United Arab Emirates / New Delhi, India — India has made a resounding statement of technological ambition and global competitiveness at GITEX Global 2025, one of the world’s largest technology exhibitions, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Led by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), India’s participation this year is the largest in its GITEX history, featuring 237 leading companies across multiple innovation halls. The contingent demonstrates the nation’s growing strength across artificial intelligence, electronics manufacturing, IoT, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital services — reaffirming India’s position as a trusted technology partner to the world.

💡 India Pavilion: A Showcase of Innovation and Collaboration

The India Pavilion, inaugurated under the banner “Technology for a Connected, Sustainable Future”, has become a hub for business partnerships, investment dialogues, and technology showcases.

Organized by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) and supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, the Pavilion reflects India’s vision to expand its digital economy footprint through global collaboration and trade partnerships.

The Pavilion features cutting-edge solutions from Indian SMEs, startups, and tech giants in sectors such as:

    • Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
    • Smart Mobility and IoT Systems
    • Cybersecurity and Data Governance
    • Fintech, Blockchain, and Cloud Services
    • Embedded Systems and Semiconductor Design
    • E-Governance and Digital Infrastructure Solutions

“India’s presence at GITEX represents not just technology — it represents trust, capability, and collaboration,” said Veer Sagar, Chairman of ESC.
“Our 237 exhibitors symbolize India’s readiness to serve as a global technology hub — where innovation, quality, and partnerships meet.”

⚙️ A Thriving Tech Economy with Global Reach

India’s participation at GITEX 2025 underscores the country’s remarkable export momentum and digital transformation trajectory.

According to ESC, India’s electronics and ICT exports to the UAE surpassed USD 3.7 billion in FY 2024–25, with bilateral trade between the two nations crossing the USD 100 billion mark. Electronics and software have emerged as top contributors to this growth, further boosted by frameworks such as:

    • Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA)
    • Local Currency Settlement System (LCSS)

“India’s technology sector is no longer defined by outsourcing — it is defined by innovation and ownership,” noted Gurmeet Singh, Executive Director & CEO of ESC.
“The participation of hundreds of Indian companies at GITEX reaffirms our goal: to position India as a leading global hub for trusted technology solutions.”

The partnership between India and the UAE continues to strengthen under shared goals of innovation, sustainable growth, and digital leadership, creating new pathways for co-innovation and cross-border investment.

🌍 Strategic Significance for India and the Middle East

The 2025 edition of GITEX Global has become a strategic launchpad for Indian technology companies seeking to expand into the GCC, Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

    Through its participation, India is:

    • Building global alliances in deep tech, cloud, and electronics manufacturing.
    • Attracting foreign investment into India’s rapidly growing digital economy.
    • Promoting Indian startups as export-ready innovators under the Digital India and Make in India initiatives.
    • Strengthening economic diplomacy through technology partnerships and bilateral cooperation.

The India Pavilion also hosts B2B networking sessions, investment roundtables, and innovation showcases, bringing together delegations from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Europe.

🚀 Championing the “Make in India – Serve the World” Vision

India’s massive representation at GITEX Global 2025 aligns with the government’s larger mission to elevate electronics manufacturing and IT exports to USD 400 billion by 2030.

With over 65 million skilled technology professionals, world-class infrastructure, and an expanding startup ecosystem, India is reinforcing its role as an AI-driven innovation powerhouse.

“Every Indian company here is a storyteller of resilience and reinvention,” said one exhibitor.
“We are not just showing products — we are showcasing what India stands for: ingenuity, reliability, and scale.”

🏛️ ESC’s Role in Catalyzing Global Growth

Since 1991, the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) has been at the forefront of promoting Indian ICT exports globally.
At GITEX 2025, ESC’s mission extends beyond trade — focusing on long-term digital diplomacy, strategic partnerships, and knowledge exchange with global counterparts.

The Council continues to support Indian SMEs with export facilitation, market intelligence, and global event representation, ensuring that the country’s innovation ecosystem connects with buyers, investors, and policymakers worldwide.

🌐 A Shared Vision: India and UAE as Digital Partners

The India–UAE technology partnership stands as a model of South–South innovation collaboration. Both nations share a commitment to advancing:

    • Digital economy integration
    • AI governance and data sovereignty
    • Start-up ecosystems
    • Sustainable technology growth

The participation of Indian companies at GITEX 2025 further cements this bilateral synergy — where India provides innovation and talent, and the UAE offers infrastructure, markets, and global connectivity.

“Together, India and the UAE are building an innovation corridor that connects Asia’s talent with the world’s opportunity,” concluded Veer Sagar.
