Dubai is preparing to unveil one of the world’s most innovative beach destinations — a $136 million women-only beach powered by artificial intelligence and smart city technology. The new Al Mamzar Beach project is designed to offer women complete privacy and enhanced safety. Additionally, it provides luxury coastal experiences 24 hours a day.

Backed by Dubai Municipality, the huge redevelopment project is part of the emirate’s larger vision to transform its coastline into a global tourism hub. The AI-powered beach is expected to attract millions of visitors each year. Meanwhile, it will redefine tourism focused on women in the Middle East.

AI and Smart Tech Power the Beach of Tomorrow

Dubai is adopting state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) innovations into the beach’s daily operations. According to reports, these intelligent technologies will assist in overseeing visitor traffic and tracking safety conditions. In addition, they will improve environmental quality and streamline beach services instantaneously.

The women-only beach will also feature intelligent systems that enforce strict privacy rules, including no-photography monitoring. There will also be security measures designed for female visitors.

Dubai’s continued leadership in AI-enabled urban development and the Al Mamzar project is a testament to Dubai’s growing investment in smart tourism infrastructure.

    World’s First 24/7 Women-Only Beach

A key feature of the project is the 24/7 fully private women-only beach. Visitors can swim at night with the help of sophisticated lighting systems, all in complete privacy and security.

According to reports, only women, including female lifeguards and service personnel, will staff the beach. In addition, the enclosed environment aims to provide comfort, safety, and freedom for female travelers and local residents.

This is a major step for Dubai as it seeks to attract more female-focused tourism experiences.

Luxury Features and Intelligent Coastal Design

Al Mamzar Beaches project covers an area of about 4 million square feet and includes a range of state-of-the-art amenities, apart from the women-only section. Features include:

    • AI-managed beach operations
    • Smart safety and rescue systems
    • Night swimming zones
    • Floating walkways
    • Water sports facilities
    • Fitness and wellness spaces
    • Running and cycling tracks
    • Family-friendly play areas
    • Waterfront restaurants

Dubai officials say the project could welcome up to 7 million visitors annually once fully operational.

    Dubai’s AI Tourism Vision Grows

The Al Mamzar redevelopment is part of Dubai’s larger AED 3 billion beachfront expansion plan. This plan aims to increase beach capacity by 170% across the city.

Dubai is fusing AI, smart infrastructure, sustainability and luxury tourism to create what many analysts consider the next generation of coastal destinations. It also aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. This plan places heavy emphasis on technology-driven urban experiences.

As AI continues to reshape industries across the globe, Dubai is now applying the technology to transform tourism, public spaces and leisure experiences at scale.

The Al Mamzar Beach project could be one of the most unique AI-powered destinations in the world for travelers.
