    In Abu Dhabi, the event took place at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence. In Dubai, the session was held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation. Government representatives, policymakers, and sector professionals attended both gatherings.


    Objectives of the National Experts Programme AI Track

    The National Experts Programme AI track focuses on building Emirati leadership in artificial intelligence. The programme supports national priorities in AI governance, infrastructure development, product innovation, and responsible deployment.

    Participants discussed regulatory frameworks and long-term AI integration across institutions. The roadshow outlined how the National Experts Programme AI track strengthens national AI capacity. The programme operates as a specialised pathway under the broader National Experts Programme.

    The structure includes seven core modules. It follows a cohort-based learning model. Participants receive dual mentorship from sector experts. International study visits are included in the curriculum. Each participant must complete a capstone project.


    Speakers and Participation in the National Experts Programme AI Track

    In Dubai, speakers included Khalid Al Nuaimi and Mohamed Al Qubaisi from the National Experts Programme Committee. In Abu Dhabi, speakers included Dr. Khalid Al Naqbi, Dr. Hoda Alkhzaimi, and Eman Al Mughairy. All speakers are alumni of the programme.

    The National Experts Programme AI track received more than 600 applications within two weeks of opening. The application deadline is 23 March 2026. Applicants must be Emirati professionals with at least five years of experience in AI-related fields.

    The programme continues to attract professionals from multiple sectors. It aims to prepare Emirati experts for leadership roles in artificial intelligence.
