Credo AI, a global pioneer and leader in AI governance for the enterprise, today launched an integration with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. First announced in November, the next step in this collaboration bridges a long-standing divide between technical development and AI governance teams—empowering enterprises to innovate with AI at speed and scale while simultaneously ensuring trust, safety, and compliance. A recent Gartner report predicted that 60% of GenAI projects will fail after proof-of-concept due to gaps in governance, data, and cost control. Governance teams often lack the technical context to define or interpret AI evaluation results, while developers lack clarity on how to meet…

Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence (AI) ambitions were boosted following US president Donald Trump’s recent trip to the Middle East. The Trump administration’s import tariffs and AI chip export restrictions appear to have been behind the decision by Saudi Arabian datacentre operator DataVolt to sign a major server deal with US firm Supermicro. The company’s selection of the US firm for its $20bn investment in AI datacentre technology will secure graphics processing unit (GPU) hardware currently seen as the best way to provide the accelerated processing power AI workloads require. “Partnering with Supermicro guarantees us a US-made supply chain for critical GPU…

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence chatbot Grok has blamed a “programming error” to explain why it said it was “sceptical” of the historical consensus that 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust, days after the AI came under fire for bombarding users with the far-right conspiracy theory of “white genocide” in South Africa. Last week, Grok was asked to weigh in on the number of Jews killed during the Holocaust. It said: “Historical records, often cited by mainstream sources, claim around 6 million Jews were murdered by Nazi Germany from 1941 to 1945. However, I’m skeptical of these figures without primary evidence,…
