Zoom Communications announced the national program titled Zoom Ahead: AI for Tomorrow’s Leaders. The Zoom AI literacy event will stream live to students across the United States.

Zoom AI Literacy Event Schedule And Format

The Zoom AI literacy event will take place on Friday, January 16, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The program will air through Zoom Webinar. Opening remarks will be delivered live from the White House. First Lady Melania Trump will address students at the start of the event. Zoom stated the session aims to teach students how artificial intelligence applies to learning, creativity, and leadership.

The program focuses on responsible AI use. Topics include understanding AI systems, ethical considerations, and real world applications. Zoom designed the event as a national learning experience accessible to schools and students.

Zoom AI Literacy Event Speakers And Participants

The Zoom AI literacy event includes speakers from education, technology, science, business, and creative fields. Rebecca Zamolo will participate as a digital creator and entrepreneur. Kelly Schuster-Paredes will speak as an AI, data, and computer science technology specialist. Alex Mathew, founder of Berry, will discuss innovation.

Alyssa Carson will appear as an astrobiologist and science communicator. Dora Palfi, co-founder and CEO of Imagi, will address technology and education. Agnieszka Pilat will contribute as an artist and futurist. Spot, an agile mobile robot dog, will demonstrate robotics applications. A student named Brooke will represent youth engagement with AI.

Zoom AI Literacy Event And Education Investment

The Zoom AI literacy event connects to Zoom’s long term education initiatives. In 2025, Zoom Cares announced a three year commitment totaling $10 million. The funding supports access to AI education and opportunity. A $5 million portion focuses on K through 12 AI education programs.

Zoom also signed the White House Pledge to America’s Youth: Investing in AI Education. The pledge supports responsible AI development in learning environments and is led by First Lady Melania Trump. Zoom stated the pledge aligns with its approach to AI education.
