HealthStay.io Co-Founders Share Global Expansion Journey at Machines Can Think Summit 2026

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sean Conaty and Ruairi Tubrid, Co-Founders of HealthStay.io, outlined how their company is transforming international patient management for healthcare providers during the Machines Can Think Summit 2026. The founders spoke in an interview with Justin Cooke, reflecting on their growth journey and the role of the UAE in scaling a health technology business.

HealthStay.io provides digital infrastructure that enables hospitals, clinics, and longevity centers to manage international and domestic patients across the full care journey. The platform supports every stage of the patient engagement process, from initial inquiry and onboarding to coordination, communication, and follow-up.

“In simple terms, we built the operating system for international healthcare,” Tubrid said. “It covers every touchpoint in the patient journey.”

The company recently reached a new phase, automating workflows and embedding intelligence across the platform to improve efficiency for healthcare teams and patient experience alike.

Conaty highlighted the company’s participation in Hub71’s most recent cohort, which played a pivotal role in accelerating momentum. The program provided validation, mentorship, and access to the Abu Dhabi startup ecosystem.

“The support and credibility we gained through Hub71 has been massive,” Conaty said. “It opened doors with hospitals and clinics much faster.”

Both founders emphasized the UAE’s rapid adoption of emerging technologies as a key advantage. Healthcare providers in the region actively seek digital and AI driven solutions, creating fertile ground for innovation.

“Adoption here is fast,” Tubrid said. “There’s a real appetite for new technology in healthcare.”

The founders also pointed to the UAE’s long term, forward thinking approach to economic development.

“Government here thinks decades ahead,” Conaty said. “If you’re building something that adds value and creates jobs, you get real support.”

HealthStay.io’s journey began through the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund in Dubai, where the team completed a six month mentorship program. Since then, the company expanded operations to Abu Dhabi and achieved product market fit across multiple regions.

Today, HealthStay.io operates in four markets: the UAE, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. Expansion into Europe is underway.

On the investment front, the founders described strong access to venture capital through accelerator programs and regional networks. The company is nearing completion of a seed round approaching one million dollars, with additional funding expected before close.

“The access to investors here is exceptional,” Conaty said. “The ecosystem actively supports early stage companies.”

Looking ahead, 2026 marks a validation year focused on customer growth and platform adoption across markets. The company plans to leverage its strong infrastructure foundation to accelerate automation and AI integration.

“We built the hard parts first,” Tubrid said. “Now we’re layering intelligence on top.”

The founders believe this approach positions HealthStay.io for sustainable scaling rather than short term hype driven growth.

The interview reflected broader themes of the Machines Can Think Summit 2026, AI in healthcare, startup scaling, and the UAE’s role as a global innovation hub.
