Vivek Bhogaraju, seasoned travel technology executive and industry advisor in data and AI, is confirmed as a featured speaker at the Skift Data + AI Summit 2025, where he will bring deep insights from a career dedicated to innovation at the intersection of travel, analytics, and scalable technology.
With a guiding belief in travel as a force for global unity and human connection, Bhogaraju has held leadership roles across every stage of the travel tech business lifecycle—from early-stage startups to global public companies. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer at Lighthouse (formerly OTA Insight), he led the growth operations team overseeing internal systems, insights, strategic partnerships, M&A, and post-acquisition integrations.
Previously, at Expedia Group, he built and led the Revenue Performance Solutions team, developing industry-leading revenue management tools that applied machine learning and platform-scale data to drive performance for hotels and vacation rentals worldwide. Prior to that, he helped grow the global partner ecosystem at IDeaS Revenue Solutions, after starting his career in operations at the prestigious Oberoi Hotels & Resorts.
Bhogaraju holds a Master’s in Hospitality Management from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, along with advanced training in AI and design thinking from Carnegie Mellon University and IDEO. His global perspective—shaped by living and working in India, Mauritius, the U.S., and Switzerland—makes him uniquely equipped to address the cross-cultural challenges and opportunities of AI implementation in the hospitality industry.
