inDrive integrates AI to boost services

Mobility platform inDrive has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into its local operations to enhance driver onboarding, personalize user experience, and improve safety and efficiency.

Operating in major cities including Metro Manila, Bacolod, Baguio, Iloilo, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro and Cebu, inDrive said over the weekend that its AI tools have streamlined internal processes while improving both driver and passenger experiences.

On the passenger side, the app interface has been powered by AI to adapt to user habits, destinations and preferences.

The company said this has resulted in a quicker, more intuitive booking experience. Additionally, AI has supported customer service by helping prioritize urgent requests and speed up issue resolution, while maintaining a people-first approach.

Safety, trust top priorities
“In the Philippines, safety and trust are top priorities for our users,” said Sofia Guinto, Head of Business Development at inDrive Philippines. “We’re using AI not just to improve speed and service, but to make every trip more secure for passengers and drivers.”

Internally, inDrive has reorganized its systems to make knowledge, files, and workflows accessible to both teams and AI assistants. These tools have helped improve collaboration, decision-making, and organizational agility.

The company has also explored new safety and fraud detection AI capabilities, such as real-time document validation and behavior monitoring.
